Rihanna Scores $25 Million Deal With Samsung


Is this what was taking so long for Anti to be release after months and months of speculation? If so, then it was definitely worth it. Rihanna scores a $25 Million deal with Samsung for the sponsorship of her upcoming album and tour. It took seven months of negotiations to finalize the biggest deals between music and tech.


The Bajan singer can thank both her manager Jay Brown and Jay Z for brokering the deal. Samsung will have Rihanna as their new promotion headliner for their Galaxy line of products. The tech powerhouse will also provide exclusive content via their Milk Music radio service. The new album will be out in the next few weeks.

Rihanna lands a movie role


In other Rihanna news, the ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ singer Directed by Luc Besson, it’s an adaptation of the iconic French sci-fi graphic novels. First appearing in 1967, the series were written by Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mézières.

Besson didn’t reveal what role RiRi will play, but we know Dane DeHaan and Rihanna’s friend Cara Delavingne will play Valérian and Laureline. The  original story is centered on a pair of spatio-temporal agents who help defend a utopian 28th century Earth and its neighboring planets from bad guys. The pair’s adventures is rooted in space and time travel. Clive Owen is also in the cast playing Commander Arün Filitt.


Rihanna’s first film role was in Battleship in 2012. She has since had a voiceover role in Home. Filming of Valérian will start in January 2016, with a theatrical release slotted for July 2017. Right in time for Summer blockbuster season.

People can say what they want about Rihanna being a bad influence on girls, but this chick stay winning. The sexy singer is also appears on season 9 of The Voice and will be on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Nov. 10 on CBS. From music to movies to endorsements, her checks don’t stop.
